Turning Thirty-Seven

In August I will turn 37.  I don't know why, but I have never wanted to be 37.  I actually kind of fear it..a lot.  I don't think something bad is going to happen.  I don't think 37 is super old.  I just don't want to be 37.  It makes me really anxious.

So, I've decided to do something about it and I would like your help.  I want you to help me plan my birthday.

My goal for turning 37 is take the focus off me and do something for others.  I have no desire to be miserable on my birthday because I can't stop thinking about myself.  I know this has already been around tons of blogs, but I want to do 37 random acts of kindness and I want you to help me pick the 37 random acts.

So, get busy and comment away.  Let me know some things you think would be great to do to honor someone else on my birthday.  I might actually get a little excited about turning the big 3-7.

  1. EEEEEK! I love this!!! *(and you). Let me know if you need help.

    My faves:
    1. leave dollars scattered around the dollar store (especially in the toy section).

    2. pick up trash on the sidewalk/street

    3. Leave lottery scratch tickets in random places.

    4. Pick up grocery carts in a parking lot.

    5. Leave Barnes and Noble gift cards in books around the store.

    6. Park at the far end of the parking lot.

    7. Write a letter & mail it to someone who has made a difference in your life.

    8. Let someone go ahead of you in line.

    9. Put 5 paper hearts in the windows of random parked cars.

    10. Leave a happy sidewalk chalk message.

    11. Pay for someone's meal behind you at a drive-thru
